These devices, represented in the country by Laboratorios Lasca, feature advanced technology, including a bicarbonate cartridge system and the capability to initiate the hemodiafiltration process, improving the recovery of certain patients.
The Health Manager, Dr. Gustavo González Mafiodo, highlighted that this investment in health will benefit many insured individuals, improving their quality of life. Meanwhile, the Head of the Hemodialysis Unit, Dr. Julio Colarte, mentioned that since August 2020, the hospital has conducted a total of 4,210 hemodialysis sessions for 951 patients. With the new acquisition, the capacity for care is expected to double.
